Jennifer Aniston found herself in an icky situation in the workplace: She was doused in oil while filming “The Morning Show” in Manhattan on Sunday.
Shutterbugs caught the “Friends” star getting splashed with a tarlike substance while donning a white sleeveless blouse and tan slacks — accentuated by a monogrammed cross-body purse and matching nude Gucci platform sandals.
Aniston’s character, Alex Levy, appears to be surrounded by protesters who flung the oil at her in the Flatiron District.
Filming for Season 4 of the Apple TV+ series is underway in New York City.
Since Season 1, Aniston, 55, has portrayed the polished co-host in the cutthroat world of morning television.
Last week, “The Morning Show” was nominated for several Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series nods for both Aniston and her co-star Reese Witherspoon.
The New York-based drama series, inspired by Brian Stelter’s 2013 book “Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV,” leads the pack with the most performance nominations for a drama series in 2024.
Aniston previously won an Emmy Award in 2002 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her beloved role as Rachel Green in “Friends.”
